Terms Of Service
Last Updated: [DATE — update before publishing] Effective Date: [DATE — update before publishing]
1. Acceptance Of Terms
By accessing or using Prometheus ("the Service", "we", "us", "our") — including our website, dashboard, API, data feeds, email alerts, or any associated content — you ("you", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description Of The Service
Prometheus provides market data, research, and signal information related to cryptocurrency markets, including but not limited to:
- Scanner-based coin scoring and classification
- Signal detection (volume, whale-flow, sentiment, macro, on-chain, and other composite indicators)
- Risk classification including insider-pump pattern ("fade risk") scoring
- Calibrated statistical analysis of forward returns
- API endpoints delivering the above
We are a publisher of financial market information and research. We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, custodian, or regulated financial institution.
3. NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE
READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.
All content, data, signals, scores, risk labels, AI-generated analyses, and any other output from the Service are provided for informational and research purposes only. Nothing provided by the Service constitutes:
- Investment advice
- Financial advice
- Trading advice
- Tax advice
- Legal advice
- A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency, security, commodity, token, or financial instrument
- A solicitation to enter into any transaction
- A representation that any particular trade or strategy will be profitable
You are solely responsible for all trading and investment decisions. Before acting on any information from the Service, you should conduct your own independent research and consult with licensed professionals (financial advisers, tax advisers, legal counsel) in your jurisdiction.
The Service qualifies as a bona fide publication of general and regular circulation within the meaning of Lowe v. SEC, 472 U.S. 181 (1985) and analogous state law exemptions.
4. Risk Disclosure
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. Prices can rise or fall dramatically in short periods, and you may lose some or all of your invested capital.
- Past performance does not predict future results. No signal, score, backtest, or historical data provided by the Service guarantees any future outcome.
- Small-cap and low-liquidity tokens carry extreme risk, including but not limited to manipulation, rug pulls, insider distribution, smart contract bugs, and total loss.
- Algorithmic trading is risky. If you connect any bot or automated system to exchange accounts based on data from our Service, you assume full responsibility for the consequences.
- Forks, regulatory changes, exchange failures, and counterparty risks may affect cryptocurrencies without warning.
- You are responsible for your own tax obligations related to cryptocurrency trading, holding, and gains.
5. No Custody
We do not hold, custody, manage, or have access to your funds, exchange accounts, private keys, wallet addresses, or any other financial assets.
- We never ask for API keys, passwords, or private keys.
- We do not execute trades on your behalf.
- We do not facilitate payments between parties.
- Any connection between our data and your trading activity is made by you, at your sole discretion and risk.
6. Eligibility And User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
- You are legally permitted to receive market data and research under the laws of your jurisdiction.
- You are not located in a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency trading, data services, or the Service itself is prohibited.
- You will comply with all applicable laws, including securities laws, commodities laws, tax laws, and anti-money-laundering laws.
- You will not use the Service to engage in market manipulation, insider trading, fraud, or any other illegal activity.
- All information you provide (name, email, etc.) is accurate.
7. API And Acceptable Use
If you use any API endpoints or automated data feeds provided by the Service, you agree:
- Rate limits apply as documented. You will not exceed published request limits or circumvent them through multiple accounts.
- No resale or redistribution of raw API data to third parties without a separate commercial agreement.
- No scraping, hoarding, or warehousing of our data beyond what is necessary for your own use.
- No attempt to reverse-engineer, replicate, or compete-with our underlying methodologies from API output.
- No use in connection with any service, product, or content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
- We may throttle, suspend, or terminate API access at any time for violations, technical abuse, or operational reasons.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Engage in market manipulation, wash trading, pump-and-dump schemes, or any coordinated trading that would violate securities or commodities laws.
- Front-run, copy-trade against, or otherwise exploit other users of the Service.
- Harass, threaten, or defame any person or entity.
- Transmit malware, spam, or unsolicited communications.
- Impersonate any person, entity, or role.
- Misrepresent your relationship with Prometheus publicly or privately.
- Use the Service to develop a competing commercial product.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Service content commercially without written permission.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, data compilations, signal methodologies, scoring algorithms, software, designs, logos, and branding associated with the Service are the intellectual property of Prometheus (or its licensors) and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other laws.

11. Privacy And Data Collection
Our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference, describes what information we collect and how we use it. We collect minimum necessary data (email for account, usage metrics for product improvement). We do not sell your personal information.
We never request, store, or transmit:
- Exchange API keys
- Passwords
- Private keys
- Wallet seed phrases
- Credit card or bank account numbers beyond what's required for payment processing (handled by third-party processors subject to their own terms)

14. Limitation Of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL PROMETHEUS OR ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR:
